I cant beleive i havent sold my scooby yet. I reckon it must just be a bad time of year (people overspending at christmas). Im gutted to be selling it but im getting married next year so i have to free up some cash. The spec is amazing and i have bills for over £40k spent on making it powerful and reliable. It really is the ultimate sleeper.

You might have more chance if your ad was more than one line long...

I see 3, maybe 4 problems.

Firstly, its a waggon, so most people associated that with the underpowered Scoobies, rather than the saloon WRX's.
Secondly, its modified, highly modified if your claims are correct, this means your selling to a narrow market.
Thirdly, as said above, your ad is practically empty, you should provide as much detail as possible, especially about the mods otherwise no ones going to call.

without a big list of actual mods I can't see it selling. Saloons are more desirable and without knowing the spec, its worth no more than this car :-

Much better, however no mention of service history and the like, you should add all the standard car advert stuff as well, with the mods second.
But much improved.

The fourth possible issue is the price, i cannot honestly comment, but if you recieve no calls after the improved ad, then I would suggest you are expecting a touch much.

It because its a wagon... and most people find around 280ish to be adequate !

Best chance is to offer to swap your running gear to a similar nutter plus say £5000.

Then sell yours with a std engine for say £4500.

People like to mod their car, not buy someone elses tastes.
