Hello,

I've got a UK mk2 MR2 and the little triangle bit of the rear lamp cluster is smashed. I'm in the US and I was going to order a replacement here (just the triangle bit, not the whole lamp), but I have a feeling that the US one will be red, not orange. Any one know?

Thanks,

Muppet.

It's a whole unit isn't it? You won;t have a fog light either- got a feleing turn signals are red too.

Nope, there is a triangle that wraps round the side of the car which you pull off to uncover the screws that hold the light on. I just need the triangle bit, not the whole lamp assembly.
I too have a feeling that the rear turn signals are red, but I want comfirmation as the US Toyota dealer I went to said "MR2, that's a preddy exotic ver-hicle" which dented my confidence in him rolleyes

Yeah, I should sign on to IMOC again. I left when the old site died, got fed up with the constant stream of spam from a pillock on the site.

Had a good search through google images and certainly some of the US MR2s had red triangles but orange indicators. It's not a good look, so I'll probably just fiddle my overtime a bit and pay for one when I get back to the UK.
