for Mrs GMan over the next couple of weeks.

Well I have got my car now so we are on the look out for something for Mrs GMan, got about 10-11k.

Got a short list of Toyota MRS/MR2, Honda S2000 or Lotus Elise.

She prefers the Lotus, so I will keep you informed as to what we get, but I'm trying to advise her more towards the Honda.

Is she a petrol head? My girlfriend hated the VX220 I had and she is into cars, she found it very difficult to get in / out of being 5'5" and they have no luggage space, she might find the same with the Elise.

But if she wants a drivers car, then they are pretty amazing.

She fell in love with the Elise when I took one out for a test drive last year, she drove it and did not want to hand it back.

I think there is your answer mate.

I know, I have been sending her loads of pics of S2000's but I don't think it's working.

Agreed
I would normally bite the hand holding the keys straight off to get a chance at owning an Elise. The S2K is probably a more practical choice, MrsGs tastes etc depending, however, also a very different but cracking drive. Tough choice.

Much as I love my Jap, if it was a choice between the S2K and the Elise, it'd be the Elise. Is she likely to rev the nuts off the S2K - or is this a case of a man buying his wife what he wants?
