wanted....R33 GTR
Discussion
I found mine on Autotrader. Plenty of examples to wade through. You could also look on the GTR Register (www.gtr.co.uk) or the Skyline owners' forum (www.skylineowners.com). I haven't looked at Skyline prices since I bought mine a year ago, but at that time you could expect to pay about £14k for a fairly standard and well kept example.

I also prefers R33's Ed
I know its sacriledge, but I think R32's looks a bit, well, "old and shit"

Who asked you Russ????
Just kidding mate Surely the term you were looking for was "dated"
I dont what it is about the R32 that I prefer, which is why I asked if there was any reason why anyone elses prefers the R33. Although, I must admit, I do have a softspot for the GTR Vspec II in midnight purple

yes ive tried autotrader / piston heads etc etc.... (almost everywhere!)
i want a 33 because ive already owned one and want another.
i also like 32's but as already said...there a tad dated, more rust, wear and tear etc...yes they are more lighgtweight and the quickest in standard form but not for me!

I used to like the R33 shape better but the more you look at them the more they look lardy and fat. Like a beached whale.
I prefer the R32 because it is more raw. With some minor tweaks you can get them looking pretty damned tidy. And the interiors are almost the same as the R33 anyway. Have a look at mine in my profile, it's not to everyones tastes but you can see there are other options available.

i bought my GTR from auto bmc just over 4 months ago, looked around for over 5 months all over the country before i found the one i bought. there is so much rubbish around at the moment think alot of cheap import cars are poping up these days and they are what they are.
my gtr was a spotless stage one tunned car when i looked at it and i had them do all the work to make it upto 460 at the wheels they fitted all the upgrades and use garage d to set it all up and map it. i would highly recomend them and garage d not the cheapest out there but they do have very nice cars. i did not feel under any pressure to buy a car i did not want and they did all the cam belt for me included in the price.
