Stubby Aerials

Who has changed their aerial on a 350Z ato the stubby S2000 and experienced a deteriation in the radio reception.

I'm wondering whether to change it as it looks better but I'm not too fussed and wouldn't want to do it if it ruins the radio reception.

i've change to shorter ones on cars i've had before and never noticed any difference. the difference came when i changed head unit.

A lot of people on the 350z-uk forums have done it and the view is that it does not cause any snags,
