Info I have seen points to a 3.7 or 3.8 varient of the latest 350Z V6 engine with twin turbo.
7 speed semi-auto or 6 speed manual.

3 versions going from very quick to mentally quick and costing £55-70k.

Nismo currently offer a 3.7l version of the 350Z in Japan, possibly as homologation for JGTC?

I heard rumours floating round that Lotus are sorting the suspension for them, anyone know how true that is?

Been mentioned on a few places. Not sure if correct or not. Cosworth apparently involved in the engine design.
I would expect Variable geometry turbo's similar to current 911.

The GTR mules were certainly at Hethel for a period of time, so it's fair to say that Lotus have had at least had some input on the ride/suspension.

Probably the most credible info released yet:

I'd be genuinely amazed if Nismo look to outside help for the R35 GTR.
I bet if you look to what engine the JGTC cars have been running last seasons, will be the same as in the new V36 GTR.

This probably the most covered car in the media ever. Nissan have had exposure worth millions.......biggrin

How are Nissan UK handling this car? I think with the last Skyline there was only one UK dealer who actually sold it, will this be a more general release? Any dealers taking deposits?

It's a lot better than previously with the new one, there'll be 5 appointed dealers. These haven't been announced yet but you'd be forgiven for expecting middlehurst to be one of them given their past experience with handling Skylines and other performance Nissans.

The GTROC have been privvy to some previously unreleased information with the car and have been working their socks off to get involved with it, to the extent where you'll be able to place a 1k fully refundable deposit on one through their online shop section.

it'll be in the region of 55k.
