Morning,

Does anyone know the best place to get replacement front pads for an 05 Scooby.

I've already tried my local dealer and Euro Car Parts (Who were farrrrrr cheaper than the main dealer).

Cheers guys for any help

what you looking for? OEM pads or aftermarket ones.

OEM www.JAPANSPARES.co.uk

If you want to go for aftermarket items try EBC redstuff Pads

Better still go for the EBC Yellow Stuff. I've got a front set here waiting to go on and they are the latest tweaked version. I hear they are pretty awesome and another sizeable step up from the Redstuff which are also pretty good, but the Yellows will increase rotor wear.

Best of all they are comparable in price to the OEM pads you can get from an official Scooby dealer, and so very much better.

the car i had a go in which had yellow stuff Pads just did not want to stop in the cold conditions. But redstuff were ok from cold and were very good in face road conditions.

Yellow stuff are idea for the track!

The latest yellowstuff are much better from cold than the older formula, and give pretty reasonable bite straight off. However, they will get much better when you get some heat into them so get up to speed and dab them a few times to warm them up. My chats with the MD at EBC reveal the more abuse you give them the better they get, and they can withstand a shedload of punishment. Sounds good to me. I can't wait to fit mine biggrin
