EUI group are good for young drivers - Elephant, Admiral, Bell.

make sure you try em all, they (randomly) give very different quotes at different times. expect to pay considerably more than £1000 though, unless he has 4 years NCD.

The annoying thing is, is that he has 3 yrs and 10 1/2 months ncd. He needs to move from existing company, but he'll lose the 10 1/2 months...in other words, hes only on 3 yrs ncd. Looking for some one that may give 4. Apparently some do. Can we foooking find someone. No. Lol

Why can't he stay with the company he is with for another month and a half then buy the impreza?

He saw the car and wanted it as it was a god buy. He might end up not driving it for a few weeks.

Added to say the best quote we've got is £1900, which is fine..its the loss of a year ncd thats a pain, so might end up doing the above yet. As i said...supposedly, some companies might make the ncd up to 4years to get his business, for the sake of a few weeks. Thats what we were told, but as yet. not heard of one...hence my question. A broker from swinton never returned a call. He was one who said 'I cant see that as a problem...i'll get back'.

Nope, Sky are an insurance broker.

Stick it out for the extra month and a half, it'll give him more time to save up the cash, and work out cheaper afterwards. Had my GT4 on the drive for 2 months til my insurance ticked over that extra NCB, it was well worth the wait! (And the extra few hundred quid in my pocket! biggrin)

He's decided to leave it locked in the garage for 6 weeks. We'll try Sky then. Cheers.
