1992 Celica?

Hey guys just asking on behalf of a chap in work, he's seen a 1992 toyota Celica 2 litre N/A for sale with 145000 miles on the clock, afraid that's about all i know at the moment but basicall is it likely to go bang? has it got a strong engine etc?

They certainly are pretty strong old lumps. They use the old tried and tested 3S-GE engine, but as with any engine, if they haven't been looked after well, then the lifespan can be severely shortened. If it's been looked after and serviced regularly, there is no reason they can't go on for a good 200,000 miles or more.
