What does it have at the moment, two pots?

I would think that a set of four pots from an Impreza would fit.

Dave, Cheapest option for brakes is to just change the pads back and front. Chuck some EBC RedStuff or better still YellowStuff on the front and rears. Maybe do RedStuff rears / YelloStuff up front. It's the cheapest option and easy to do. IF that doesn't help you're looking at new calipers (4 or 6pots)/ larger Rotors all round / performance pads, but that won't be that cheap to do and will depend largely on which manufacturer you go for. What makes the biggest difference to your OEM brakes though are the pads so go there first as you might be suprised at how good your brakes might become after a change of pads.

As a matter of course generally, don't forget to change the flexible brake hoses for Goodridge Stainless Steel braided ones (about £50-£60 for a set of 4, that will harden up the brake pedal a bit and give better feel) all round, and chuck in a full brake fluid change. Go for DOT5.1 Fluid. Although the silicone stuff (like Castrol RBF 600) is even better as it has a much higher boiling point it does make the pedal feel a bit softer and yours might be soft enough as it is, like the one on my Impreza WRX hehe

Good luck thumbup

Yep...they are pretty good too but not as cost effective as the EBC's...Horses for Courses though hehe

If you have a reasonable budget, a full set of Sti Brembo discs and calipers could be made to fit. I picked mine up (from an 06 Spec-c with 16k on it) for £450 and fitting is about £300 as there is a little fabrication involved. Thats a lot of stopping power for £750!!
