What is it?

Looks like a badly modified Toyota Sera to me.

Great little things from the same era as the Cappucino and Beat (similar size too). All the body panels are removable and you could just bolt new/different ones on. They were also sold as a Suzuki Cara. I think there's about half a dozen in this country and they've got a bit of a cult following in Japan so prices are high for what they are.

That one's a ridiculous price though - as are all J's Garage cars. By the time you'd bought it, shipped it, paid tax and registered it here it'd be more like £13,000 at current exchange rates.

Tha AZ1 was always my favourite of the K-class cars....

I don't know if it's supposed to drive as well as the cappuccino or beat, but the gullwing doors on such a tiny car are just sooo cool!! biggrin

I would love one! Been keeping my eye out, but virtually zero chance of finding a reasonably priced one... Same wee tubo engine as used in the Cappuccino (had one of those - brilliant), but in the back obviously!

Thing it has over the cappuccino is that its partly made of plastic / composite (body panels), so won't rust at the sight of the word 'moisture' as the Cappuccino does...
