And a hello to you to Smifffy and your excellent choice of car. Is it standard or modded, road or track?
Cheers.

It's in the process of being sensibly modded by Gatwick Subaru for fast road use.

Replacement of front diff, VF 34 turbo, ceramic headers, new fuelling system, longer 5th gear, uprated rear anti roll bar, various suspension bushes etc.

I get it back on Saturday - It's a bit like Christmas....

I would just like to say how utterly jealous i am of these 22b's and their owners. The one for sale on PH looks mint, and doesn't the 2dr look a peach and the very nicest looking of any scooby ever!! cloud9

2Skiddy why are you selling your P&J? I would be holding onto it forever as one day there won't be any left on the road and they are so rare, specially UK cars.

Fair play to the pair of you!! thumbup

Hi, The 22B has been great, but it is time to move on. I have little garaging space and already have my next car! If I could keep it I would, although not a fan of having cars stood for long periods of unuse. The thing that impresses me about the 22B is how light and nimble it is with the thin guage steel and ultra quick steering. I could go on, but I would be preaching to the converted. Just needs a new owner to enjoy!
Cheers all.

Now those I would like to see. They'll have to be careful tightening the securing bolts up . . . .. biggrin

How times change, I can remember the time when an Official Subaru franchise wouldn't let a JDM owner through the door (let alone his car near the workshop)

Mods sound great Smiffy, have fun and keep it on the black stuff !
I still have very fond memories of mine frown

Heh - I spoke to David at Gatwick Subaru and said "Talk me out of a 22b...".

When he replied "I can't, I love them and I know one that's coming up with 19k miles on the clock" I knew I was in trouble....

biggrin
