Because there is a place to sell your car....Pistonheads Classifieds!!
Far too many people come on to PH trying it on when they want to flog their P&J to gauge potential interest, get a lucky hit, whatever, and this is exactly what happens. Your post will be removed.
If someone posts.... 'Help me choose a car'....as happens quite often, and someone comes on and replies.... I've got so and so, it's in good condition, low mileage etc...' then he will get a rollacking!!

P.S. You should get/have had an email informing you that your post/topic has been removed/closed. Unfortunately, and it has happened to me only once before, you never get that email. But rightfully so you are entitled to that notification. I'm sure it's just an admin error.
If you haven't had the email, and feel strongly enough to make something of it, make a complaint!! Otherwise i probably wouldn't bother
