Tried the boost solenoid cleaning. Got some runny black junk out and it sounded quite different afterwards, but if it's done anything to the car I can't tell.
The indicator problem seems to be a loose relay. Fingers crossed. Think I'm going to stick it on autotrader nice and cheap then start over.

AL....Stick it on PH Classifieds. Costs you nothing and you may get a nibble. It's a shame you have to sell it but sometimes you've just got to say 'Adios Amigo'. Good luck with that one
