Can i fit Wrx shocks on my STI

Hi every i need to sort out my suspension on my STI cant source a shock any where so i had an idea. I found a full set of shocks and springs on ebay for a Wrx and was thinking if i put the shocks on the car and replaced the springs would it work? as i think the Sti came with different suspension and i cant afford to buy a full after market set.

Totally agreed with CW.

STi shocks are a not only an upgrade over the WRX shocks but absolutely meant for the job, so you should buy either STi shocks or aftermarket.

There are so many around i am amazed you can't find any. Give grade A Subaru a call, they will have some used STi shocks guaranteed, their service is excellent, and Andy at Grade A really knows his stuff and is a very top man. They do mail order and their courier costs are very reasonable indeed.

Thanks guys i chose not to in the end as i thought it might be a stupid thing to do. ill give him a call getting a bit worried now as my tyers are starting to rub the arch as i cane it round corners and never did before so pretty sure the back has dropped some how.
