Or just piston slap like some of the older ones? doesn't actually do much but makes people think theres something wrong.

On a different note, doesn't the 4 door new impreza look so much better than the hatch? Have they got any plans to sell it over here?

At least Subaru caught this issue in reasonable time and has done the right thing as a precaution by stopping sales until they know exactly what the score is. Very sensible from Subaru knowing how some of the bigger car manufacturers are prone to handling recall and manufacturer fault issues very badly by not doing anything at all until they really have to, which is pretty damn poor IMHO!!

However, any affected Subaru's will be fixed FOC under warranty and will probably get a brand new replacement engine that will be fault free. Job Done!!

It's no biggie really but fair play to Suabru!! thumbup
