so far i've yet to find the switch to turn the Turbo on

it has *some* horsepower, Carbon bonnet eyelids and airscoops, as well as supra wheels.

sounds awful as well, its going, as are the tints and the carbon

because the fto still needed work, and costs a fortune to insure.
this costs £250 a year to insure, and does mid 30mpg (so far)
not a bad little runner (if dreadfully slow)

i am as good as _Al_ at choosing cars

no, just the FTO, this one is a temp car whilst i save for the next 'project' (hence being N/A)

I'm willing to admit that there's something seriously wrong with my ability to choose cars.

That's probably why I quite like the look of your little N/A there (CF bonnet excepted). You're not wrong about the speed though - I tried a rev 3 n/a GTI 16. I swear my Mums' fiesta would have beaten it in a straight line.
