Hi

anyone have any advice / links etc on how to change the standard 3 piece front grill on a 07 WRX for the shiny stainless steel jobs?

I also need to fit the lower prodrive grill as well if any has any clues....

I have also posted on a good specialist site but am tyring to widen the net, as the wrx is a bit new for many modders.

Cheers!

Fitted a prodrive grill kit to this one and it was fairly strait forward, if your ok with mechanics its an easy job as it comes with a comprehensive fitting manual and the fitment is A*

GRD,

Thanks for your reply. I am buying it 2nd hand so I hope the buyer still has the fitting instructions. I am especially keen to know if it is absolutely necessary to cut the old original plastic grills out of the 3 piece holders??? This seems a bit drastic!

I assume I am right in thinking I just need to undo the mounting pins at the top etc and lift forwards to remove the 3 piece kidneys?

Does the lower grill need screw holes drilled into the valance etc?

I really want one of yr stage 1 wrx packs but with a 10 month old car the scam priced PPP makes "warranty" biased sense (crap value though).

To be honest i would have to look back through myself. If i can dig out the instructions i will scan them and post up... if not then ask a subaru dealer or phone prodrive direct, here are the 2 numbers i have on file and i am sure if you explain the situation they would be willing to help you out and forward them on to you
