Need some help or advise at least

Back in 98 I test drove a Honda Integra Type R, it was a proper UK import at a Honda dealer. Have to say I was very impressed with the car at the time, and remember all the great reviews it got.
Recently I've been looking for a new daily driver. I've considered several options, using my TR7 V8, buying a Ford Puma 1.7 or a Subaru Impreza (WRX/WRX STI classic shape).
Then all of a sudden yesterday, for no aparant reason I though why not an Integra Type R?
So as it's 10 years on since we got them here in the UK can anyone help and offer some advice on buying one now?
Are they still keeping up the reputation of infalable Honda reliability or have these highly strung screamers aged badly?
What's the score on the imports? Are they of comparable spec or should they be avioded? Is a UK car worth the premium?
Is there a forum or website that specialises in these cars?
Thanks for your help.

The honda forum really should rejoin the fold, imho. I can see MX-5 as a subforum because of all the "buy an mx-5!" comments in general gassing makes a lot of repetitive questions, but Hondas....?
besides, who else are we going to tease about lack of torque?
