thought see if anyone knows on here bout the issues im having.
ive just got my alterntor reconditioned, but its still dosnt work, tho its going back
however, non of my electrics on the dash work, no lights come on, no gauges work. and power windows dont work. fuse look fine on windows etc.
I was told by guy down at motor point that the battery warning light may have blown and that can cause alternator to not charge or electrics work on dash etc, but ive not heard of this has anyone else?
Or any ideas, as even on full bettery electric on dash don’t work. Other stuff, like lights, indicators etc all work fine

I would check every single fuse in the car both under the bonnet and in the cab (under the steering wheel i think) just to make sure there are no blown fuses anywhere.
It sounds unlikely that a warning light bulb in your dashboard would cause the alternator to stop charging. Never heard of that myself either but you never know.
