Any one here drive a Shogun Sport 2.5TD ?? Any good? What is the real world MPG in Town, motorways and touring?

I don't drive them but I used to sell them.

Essentially the Shogun Sport is an L200 pickup with an estate car body, so don't expect the highest levels of luxury or comfort. That said they are a big strong truck and for working are good.

MPG It depends on how you drive, I used to get high teens, most people get mid to high twenties overall. They do schelp it down at (ahem) motorway speeds.

The power upgrade is worth it, stops them being quite so sluggish.

i had an L200 (hated it, but thats another story) and was surprised at the MPG....people said high 20s but i seemed to hang around mid to low 20s (mostly town driving)

Thank for that guys - I'm looking to replace my 2.8 Fourtrak which returns high 20's to 30's.
Also keen on a 3rd Gen Toytota Hilux Surf(import), as far as i know it's based on the Land Cruser.
