Hi all,
I am currently preparing to import a 2003 Nissan Skyline 350GT. Can anyone tell me what additional things i need to do to keep everything above board.. (Type approval etc)

Thanks a lot.

Infiniti will be releasing the G37 over in Europe shortly, if you can afford it...

Bit of a dissapointing thread. I was expecting this to be about a *real* Skyline... Oh well frown

That's exactly what a Skyline is. People only seem to associate them with the GTR, or GTST versions. It's like associating a 3 series with M3, and ignoring all the others. You'll also find that the 350gt has about as much in common with the old skylines as the new GTR, which is to say not much.

The Skyline name has been around since the late 50's, only the GTR's have brought the name to legendary status, most Skyline are very ordinary (the R33 had 4 doors and 2.0 normally aspirated versions).

I've SVA'd lots of 350GT's as well as regular servicing and upgrades, they are cracking cars, better interior & handling than the 350z and much more unusual.

Go for it smile

But it's up to Nissan whether they put the Skyline name on it or not. 350GT Has the moniker, that's good enough for me.
