I've just bought an Impreza WRX and I was looking for a good owners club to sign up to for advice and to learn more, which are generally considered the best communitys?

The site with the most technical knowlage would be 22b.com.

For more chat about meets and general subaru advice then either Scoobynet or SIDC are good.

If you go with SIDC some Subaru main stealerships will give you 10% discount on servicing and parts purchases. Other well known Scooby performance garages/parts sellers will be doing likewise.

Scoobynet IMHO isn't what it used to be and is frequented these days by a lot of numpties which is why i go on there to read more than contribute. In fact i don't think i have ever written a single post on ScoobyNet.

I'm guessing you're from Powys? If so, I don't think you'd go far wrong with your local club:

I'm of the same opinion as scoobywrx though about scoobynet, it does seem to have degenerated into a small boys and thier toys club these days frown
I guess its a sign of the marque becoming more accessable to a certain younger demographic.

Hi Lennard,

Scoobynet isnt so bad mate, although there are a lot of trolls on there. Im a member myself and part of the South Wales Scoobies (SWS) and SIDC which arrange meets and events through the Wales section on Scoobynet. There are some great lads in the local clubs and we are part of some great events. The RO for SIDC Wales is one of the founder members of SWS and you get more feedback from the Wales section on Scoobynet than you would on SIDC as it is visited more regularly.

Hope this helps,
Ian
PS. Get along to one of the meets or runs, there is bound to be a run soon and we usually end up North of Breconbiggrin Also Pistonheads have a run through the Black Mountains arranged for 17th August which is a great day out, take a look at the PH Wales section;)
