Just looking a mint MR2 Turbo on a 92/J plate. Anything I should be wary of? Mostly the possible handling 'challenges' ???

and be aware in std form it will have 190bhp @ the fly (200 if its a good-un)
Rev 3's are a slightly better bet if you can stretch your cash...

Early Tubby's were 225 I believe. Rev 3 + were 245. Drive it, and you'll know if something is wrong.

Mine made 244 with just an exhaust & filter change so I doubt it would have only made 190 as stock.

crumbs, perhaps i should look for a cheap rev1-2....

Mine made 244 with just an exhaust & filter change so I doubt it would have only made 190 as stock.

crumbs, perhaps i should look for a cheap rev1-2....
My really ste rev 2 was rolling roaded at 208bhp with bugger all boost and a shagged turbo.

0.5 bar iirc.

Mine was 0.7bar when it made 244 on G-Forces dyno.
