Hi i will be buying either a nissan 300 TT or a mitsibushi 3000gto TT, wanted a 3000gto but dont know if a fancy the 4wd (more to go wrong, more expensive on fuel) Also the main worry is go for import - not so much rust as no salt on there roads & not to much rain- bad points- service history owners.
Uk good for insurance & service history no sva to sort bad points - corrosion!!
what do you think???
Any help would be good, cheers

Answer to your first question: I'd pick a GTO over the ZX. Answer to your second question: Import or uk? I wouldn't worry. Find the best car you can in your budget, let the condition sway you, not if it is a uk or jdm car. However, you'll more likely find JDM cars to be in better condition overall..Uk good for insurance & service history no sva to sort bad points - corrosion!!

Find out how much the insurance saving will be on a UK car.
If the Jap car isnt much more expensive and its in good condition then its likely to have les rust and better spec.
Dont trust the milage on imports, look at other signs of wear and buy on condition.
The only other advice I would give is dont buy the first car you see
