I have had a supra in the past and loved it. Had to sell due to getting a family car. Now im left with the trusty 1.0 micra spare car but would like to make it quick sleeper. Found it hard to find info on it. Anyone got any ideas, i thought pulsar engine (now that would be mad).

Nissan did a mid engine conversion with a 3.5 V6 from a 350Z. That would be nice smile

That would be cool. Out of my price range, i was thinking some thing like a 2.0 16v.

A turbo lump from a calibra is probably the most common high power swap if you could do.
Very popular with the corsa, but it will probably fit your micra as well.

seen a couple running SR20DET's, presumably from a GTI-R and not a 200sx.

why not get rid of it and just buy a sleeper hatchback?

it will cost you loads to do the swap...you could just get a Starlet Turbo?

hate them now, far too many idiots with them who only have them cause they cant afford a proper jap turbo motor.

And they cant maintain the startlets either making them more ste to drive! What was their service interval like? Something worse than the Evo IIRC!! You could just try a Civic MB6 (VTi). Nice sleeper appeal there. If an engine swap is what you want, why not try the almera GTi engine?

Some form of SR20 is probably your best bet - DE(150-175bhp NA), DET(220-250 bhp turbo, easy to get more), VE(200bhp VVT NA), VET(250-280bhp VVT turbo), take your pick really. Or an SR16VE could be fun, less torque but revvier than the SR20.
