hi my mate owns a celica vvti 2001 model. and he has recently brought new wheels for it and he has decided he wants the wheels to come out past the arches. how would you go about doing this? and what price factor we looking at?

Spacers would be the way to bring the wheels out to fill the arches better, but I wouldn't come out past the arches as thats not strictly legal and would fail an MOT.

Just buy some big washers, that way when you crash your wheels will come flying off cartoon style :P

how much do spacers run at? the reason why he wants to do it is so it has that wide super car look also because he brought deep dishes and the wheels are kind of lost in the arches.

They're cheap but its depending on what size you are after. Extending beyond the arches is a very bad idea, it will fail the MOT, plus tyou'll have problems with tyre wear, suspension alignment etc.

You can put on some arches to go over the wheels if you space them out.

Like we've done with this Mr2 :
