Try Keith Michaels (Ask for Gary Moulson), A-Plan or Directline.

I've found the above very good on WRX and Sti Insurance, both Keith Michaels and A-Plan are happy to discuss any car mods you've had done and charge very little extra if anything at all sometimes. I'm currently with Keith Michaels, they got my business after a year with A-Plan who weren't far off on the renewal but still couldn't match KM.

Admiral are worth a shot, but they were high for WRXs and Evos when I tried. VERY cheap for some of the other specialist jap stuff though, so worth a crack.

Thumbs up for A-Plan. Can fault them either when I recently had a bump.

The only thing to judge an insurance company and the premium offered is when it comes time to make a claim.

A-Plan are by far the best we've dealt with - although their underwriters on our policy were a little slow issueing the cheque (2 weeks).

I am with Keith Michaels (Ask for Gary Moulson) he is a great chap and its good to get a quote off A-plan first and see if gary can beat it.
