Insurance, Import or UK ?

Im looking to buy either a Legacy or a Impreza wagon and was curious as to the cost difference in the insurance rates.
Could anyone enlighten me to the difference rather than getting into long calls with the insurance companys.

What AG said. Some companies are not at all bothered.
Some won't touch them.
Some will cover you, but charge a good mark up over the rate for the same UK car.

The only way to tell is spend a few hours on the phone.
