Our newly acquired Impreza WRX wagon is now 2 years old but has only 5.5K on the clock and only done 3K of that since the last service 12 months ago. Is there any suggestion that it would need anything other than a standard 24K service, which is what is due but of course the mileage is along way short of 24K
Most Porsche indies offer a "short" service for my 944 if it only does a a couple of K a year but as this is under warrantee would I/should I just stick to the standard intervals and the service that comes with it regardless of the actual mileage?
The car will do 10K a year with us now.
Thanks

Depends whether you want to use the 3 year warranty or not. I assume that if you don't carry out the correct service at the correct time then the warranty is void.

Anyway, Imprezas aren't that expensive to service, is it really worth giving yourself any form of hassle to save a couple of hundred quid (at most, more like less than a hundred) for one years servicing?

The warranty book says 12,000 miles OR 12 months. I had similar with my 05 as I was only doing 6 or 7k miles PA.
