I somewhat doubt your father's trade policy has in writing "Any car upto 1400cc... expect ones with turbos".
I believe this is one of those lovely things called a Loopwhole.
Read his policy to double check, but I think you're in the clear.

You would be surprised.I'm good mates with a guy at the garage I use for all my cars, he's 20 and his insurance is sorted through his fathers company policy, he's allowed anything up to 2000cc, but no turbos or imports. As such he built himself a Civic VTi with a B20/B16 hybrid engine.

Yeahh i am lucky lol.
Atm i got a punto sporting, which as it stands would cost me £4000 to insure on my own...
But its not reliable and i'd like something with a bit more power, preferably a turbo! And as i saw these glanza's were 1300cc i thought i might stand a chance of insuring it...
