EVO VI...Savage, RS2...even more savage. Which is ace. It will need massive/timely TLC to keep it running. But the driving reward will be second to none.

The scoob is newer, which would make me swing that way. The Spec c is also a savage car, but will require a tad less of your wallet to keep it going.

Either way.....DO IT!

Hmmmm

Now maybe considering 'teg DC5 Type R as not too expensive to run. Mind you I'm only doing about 5k a year in it and a few trackdays for fun and hopefully take it to the 'ring and tour a bit.

Thoughts please?

Step 1) Drive a good example of each
Step 2) Decide how much you like each one
Step 3) Decide how important running costs are to you, Type-R cheapest, Spec C next, Evo highest.
Step 4) See if that changes your decision
Step 5) Buy a car and have fun

smile Hope this helps tongue out

Be aware the Evo Evo VI RS2 doesn't have the AYC system on it, hence servicing is cheaper than a normal GSR.

Visit www.lancerregister.com if you want to find out more about the cars.

That's why I wanted the RS2 and not a GSR, the costs and the drive.

When i was purchasing my 7RS the seller also had a spec C for sale and offered me a drive. I was very impressed with the scooby particularly the engine response - virtually no lag. Handling was very good - felt a little more comfortable than the evo.
It really depends on your intended use for the car. I use my evo for weekend fun and track days and so the 7RS is perfect for me (more hardcore). If i wanted a car to use more regularly i would have seriously considered the spec-c
