www.skylineowners.com would be a better place to start.

Mind you, they're so cheap in RWD format that you don't need a write off, unless you're really low on funds (but then a project car that's a write off would probably cost more just to get on the road).

Shadow ninjas right. You could pick up a GTSt pretty cheap these days. I've seen rolling GTR shells at 1-1.5k.

Best bet would be to start with a complete solid car mate.

Just track whatever Skyline you get. They're not meant for posing.

what sort of budget do you have ?
for the track would go for an older 32 gtr , 4wd and plenty of grunt ,
or maybe a33 gtr bit more power but heavier to start with but easy to shed the pounds .
a 34 is a harder car to uprate engine wise with the neo engine but still fun but gtr mode a tad expensive to start with.
give us a clue with the money and im sure there are enough people on here with the experience to help , and even show you what our cars can do if you live close enough

I really havent got a clue on budget!
Dont want to spend too much on the car to start, hence something like a write off, but looking to do the whole thing ovr 2 years and not really looking to spend more than 50k on it

Hi Mustang,
I have a '95 M reg GTS Turbo in silver & manual. RWD & steer. Tax & MOT but a little scuffy that would make a great place to start a project. Bought it to track & drift but not enough time! yours for 2.5k? All is perfect mechanically & possibly the sweetest engine ever. I have a Porsche 997, amongst others, & it sounds better than that to me. Let me know if you are interested I haven't advertised it but your wecome to come & have a look. Rgs Chris.

is that 5k or 50k ?
for 50k you could get prob one of the best 34 gtrs there is !!
if 5k then go for a 32 , about 1k will buy a base car then the skys the limit
