Tokyo drift silvia s15 spec s

I bought the nissan silvia s15 from tokyo drift about 6 months ago from newera imports and want to know why they used a non-turbo for the film??? i have only used the car for shows and have left it unregisterd in the uk, i want to sell it or part-ex it for somthing but don't know what to get in its place?? can anyone help please!!

Ah ok, I stand corrected:

Nah this is whats under the hood, Engine is a Factory Autech unit, with 200 bhp as standard, which has received a full HKS 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and SARD arouse Mig R exhaust system, so it's currently making around 220 bhp and a Nismo clutch and Nismo 2 way differential.

Have you thought about getting a Turbo S15, the Spec R? A friend of mine just bought one with basic mods(induction, decat, exhaust) and its pretty damn quick!

well yeah i did think about it, just need to see if i can sell this one first, its in the classfied ads for "offers" so i will see what i can get for it and then take it from there, its just trying to get a buyer cause its unregisterd in this country cause i only used it for shows and didn't want to put one owner on it when i was going to sell it when i got bored with it.

If its a genuine Autech car its probably quite rare, and at 220bhp shouldn't be too far off a 250bhp standard Spec-R.

the autotech engine is a good one an yeah the car isn't too far off a standard turbo because its lightweight at 1100kg, so it would make a good project for somebody because all that needs done is a bit more power from the engine and you would have a great car but sadly i am moving to the middle east and it needs to go to a loving home but when i get over there i think i will go get somthing intresting, plenty of straight roads out there!! just need to get the word out and sell this one.

1100kg? err....really? unless everything is CF i would doubt that....

well the standard car only weighs in at between 1200-1270kg and mine was completely stiped out for the film, there isn't much left in there a dash board, 2 seats and a rollcage is about it, but its a very nice place be

1200kg is the official weight for a Spec-S, I think the Autech was a bit lighter again.

I just bought a spec r and the mot just came back saying it was 1340kg...

dont forget in the films they have about four of each car e.g F&F4 they had the bayside blue R34 GTR, they had one GTR but four "lookalikes" which were GTT's. You my friend might have gone through the same thing and bought a genuine car from the film but not the daddy

"The Daddy" to use your words is an NA autech car, so he has the real deal, quite why they used it in a drift film is beyond me, but the car should be very handy around a track.
