Useful RB26 info

If anyone's interested in some RB26 engine tech, this is a great thread. The guy has an original NISMO R32 GTR which was set up for drag racing in the early 90s - it ran an 8.8 second quarter mile with over 1000hp and 10,000rpm. The poster used to work on it since he builds RB26s for a living in Japan, and always loved the car.

Then it blew up, twice and the original owner mothballed the car. The current owner, and rebuilder, bought it back off him after the car had been sitting for 10 years. He is currently refocussing the car from pure drag racing to more of a street setup with great throttle response and fast spool up.

its a pretty interesting read - there are lots more pictures to come from the original build up thread, buts thats not on a public forum.
