Impreza Saloon - Do the rear seats go down??

Hi All

I'm looking at getting the previous model Subaru Impreza Turbo, the Saloon version, however want to know can the rear seats fold down ? I want to be able to put a mountain bike in the boot, and put the rear seats down so the bike will go straight in.

In a Classic the rear seats drop in all UK cars, with the exception of the RB4, which used a fixed back JDM body.

I thought he was asking about an Impreza Turbo rather than an Impreza WRX

Fair point well made.
Just to clarify, the seats didin't fold down in either of mine - a 2001 UK WRX and a 1995 JDM WRX.

Get yourself a newage WRX Wagon or Classic STi Wagon. Fold the seats down and you'll easily get your bike in there and anything else you can think of. Equally when the mood dictates you can use it as a shagwagon and they are both pretty quick A-B.

Even though i have a wagon i still pefer putting the bikes on a bike rack for transportation purposes. I've had 3 mountain bikes on a rack before and a boot full of gear on a trip to Scotland and it still managed to tank up the motorway with ease!!

Classic impreza saloon, yes the rear seats fold down on all UK models except RB5, P1 and terzo as these had solid rear bulkheads (like the JDM sti models).

Because he wants to pus his bike in the back - read the initial post.

Bike will fit in the boot easily with seats down, although I used to remove the front wheel for ease.
