Have never liked them. Always found the Mazda 323 4WD a better option for that time frame.

Ah, I've never been to Slough so I wouldn't know. I don't think it would drive well, but the styling from the front is just typical jap sports hatch and a lot sharper looking than the standard car.

I can sort of see where you are coming from, but I guess I've just grown beyond hatches.
