Consumption on Nissan Murano

Can any of you good people give me a real world idea of the consumption in a Murano?

I love the look and idea of the cars but am led to believe they're quite thirsty. They are good value at the moment but thats probably why.

My driving is a 50:50 mix of dual carriageway and town driving if that helps.

I already drive a Subaru Outback 3.0Rn so thirsty cars are nothing new, I just don't want to get worse consumption than I already do (21-22mpg at the moment, the same as my 4.6l Mustang )

I average 24 in my 350Z which has the same engine (Murano is detuned though). I doubt the Murano is any better, in fact I would expect it to be worse as is heavier and is an auto.
I expect you will need to look elsewhere if you want better economy.

I drove one not too long ago, this is a US-Spec car with the 3.5 and a CVT Automaticish.

24US on the highway, cruise control on, doing 70-75. So that's about 28UK.

I am getting 26 average mpg on my Zed. 21 does seem a little on the low side, even with it being an auto. How old is it?

21+ is good enough for me

I appreciate it depends on driving mix and style, as mentioned my 4.6 V8 Mustang returns an everage of approximately 23mpg becuase it is an unstressed lazy torquey motor, but can lift its skirts up and sprint when asked
