Whats the difference between UK and Jap spec GTR?

Contemplating a Nissan GTR ....

but am considering if an imported spec'ed car is worth the £10k premium over a factory UK car?

What are the main differences ? I know the SatNav cant be changed fom Japanese to English, but TomToms are only £150 these days. The speed limiter can be derestricted with ease too and servicing can be done from numerous specialists.

So what else?

What about getting after market waranties ? If I bought the car from say Litchfields, wouldnt they provide one of their own warranties ??

Agreed Then Yen exchange rate is indeed furqued. Stuff that we are getting from Japan is costing almost 40% more than a 9 mnths ago.

100 % concur, the car is absolutely awesome , still running in and even with the suspension in comfort and vdc on it performs superbly, did try R mode briefly on vdc and you can certainly have some fun with the back end.
Its the only car ive owned which i think has exceeded my expectations.
Highlight has to be the transmission, the gear change is sublime
Only gripe is the huge blind spot created by the mirror when taking left hand bends and i have my seat in the lowest position.
TBH it could be dangerous because the speed this thing takes corners at the last thing you want is a large blind spot right in the middle of your vision.
Other than that though its amazing, to the OP, get one you wont be disappointed.

Also car doesnt get half as much attention a i thought, but then again i had just come from an orange Sagaris

BTW jap spec cars have an aux input which UK cars dont, handy if you want a rear facing cam, and jap cars have a slot for flash memory card too i believe.

Whether it is an import or UK spec car, awesome! Mind you, if you saw the first time they were started up at the end of the Production Line you would not be too impressed! Believe me, they are well and truely 'run in' before they leave the Tochigi Production Plant!
