Engine Rebuild on an STI?

hey.
am looking to buy an STI but dont know a enought about cars really. ive seen one i want, but its saying that the engines had a rebuild, does it just mean they've upgraded things or has something blew up on the old? work was done by Langworth International Motorsport.

Impreza rebuilds usualy entail rplacement of various bearings seals and components to do with the bottom end of the engine. The turbo and all it's ancilliary bits are sometimes replaced as well. If any rebuilding has been doen it should have a summary of the work done available, and if it's been done by a reputable company it will be fine.
