Folks,

Chap in the office as an RX-8 that appears to have a strange issue..

After/during a long run (1h 30 and up) it begins to become reluctant to rev past 6k and, from his description of the issues, sounds rather like fuel starvation to me..

He's based in Worcester and has found these guys not too far away http://www.wgtautodevelopments.co.uk/ .. Any postive/negative experiences with them? (feel free to email rather than fall foul of the N&S rules)..

Alternatively, any other recommended rotary specialists within a reasonable distance of Worcester?

TIA,

slinky

wgt seem to get some pretty rave reviews over on the mazda rotary club forums but I haven't used them myself go and have a look, also a good place for advice on diagnosing the issue - http://www.mazdarotaryclub.com/forums/

Does it rev right through the rest of the time?

The symptom sounds like what quite a few owners have reported and It has been the CAT's internals breaking up and needing replacing.
