Gents - currently considering an M3, RS4 or C63

The Lexus?? Should I take it seriously??

Love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

Thanks

YES.

Very, very fast and competant car. There was one at the last trackday I went to, it was silly fast, I bet if dropped on a dyno they make more power than claimed. Certainly my track car can out drag an M3 without bother, the IS-F I just had to get out the way and watch him disappear.

417bhp and EIGHT gears to keep you in the powers bit of a winner.

It's got to be worth a try, as with the others, then at least you'll be making an informed decision. Being a Lexus it will be reliable and reasonably well glued together, as well as a BMW I have doubts but you never know?

Image is a factor however, it seems ot be a car that wants alot of gold putting on it, which would put me right off.

I don't think you've started enough What Car? threads to make a solid decision.

Mega bits of kit, they are rare, discreet (bar the noise) and have what is possibly one of the best V8 engines in existence in terms of power & reliabilty. Plus the 8 speed box is mega too.

I'd have one over the commoners cars anyday

I drove an isf and found the gearbox infuriating as it was never happy with what gear it was in. The engine sounded great but performance wise it was not all that. Most impressive was the cruise control which allowed you to not even have to adjust your speed in traffic.

A great looking car but nowhere near the excitement and presence of the Merc.
