Does anyone know of a UK based Subaru owners club that covers their full range, and not just the Imprezza?
I've just ordered a New Forester 2.0D XSN, due to take delivery in a fortnight.
I have previously owned a WRX and am delighted to be back into the brand, and wondered if there was an online owners club.

Anyone know if there is?

Cheers

Probably the SIDC (Subaru Impreza Drivers Club) - It's not just for Impreza's, there will be Forester, Legacy, and Outback owners too. To be fair from a mechanical point of view the Impreza and Forester are very similar, share the same floorpan, engine's as well as sometimes share the same mechanical issues.

There are plenty of armchair experts there as well as the more knowledgeable specialists giving advice and help on all sorts of things. You have to pay to become a member but that has potential advantages like discounts (10%) off parts and servicing at some main dealers and they do other things too. I've never been tempted to become a member but some say it's a good club others say it's no better than some of the regional clubs or ScoobyNet. In fact you should try ScoobyNet as well. Go take a look for yourself.

SIDC is a good bet, they seem to know their stuff about Subarus in general. Avoid Scoobynet they are a complete bunch of nescafe drinkers in my experience.
