Is there a Mazda equivalent of vag-com? If so where can I find it, I presume that the cable is the same connection a I used on my Seat?

You need an OBDII CAN scanner, however most will only pick up engine related faults.

There is something called an EFIDUDE but not sure if that can pick up faults at all.
