Quick question, I have lights in the front bumper of my FTO but are they fog lights or side lights....I have little (look like side indicator) lights drilled into the front bumper which come on as side lights, which I really do not like and so want to remove. If I do remove them can I wire the lights in the bumper to come on as side lights instead??

I have enclosed a pic (hopefully)

i have never seen another FTO with these lights drilled into the bumper???

the DVLA did not like FTO sidelights when they where imported (they where placed in the fog light) so lots have had bodged mods either in the headlight or fog.
remove your fogs, and see if the 501 bulb holder is still there.
undoubted the wiring will have been butchered, but if the holder is still there then just move the wiring from the existing lights.

Cheers Batty. To remove the fog lights I guess it is just a case of undoing the one screw found on the front of the lens? If I manage to move the sidelight back into there will it still pas the MOT?

drill the screw out. bumper can't be removed without the fogs off.
