350z auto, any good?
Discussion
hi guys, basicly what it says on the tin, like the idea of an 350z auto, just want to know if there any good, tiptronic i think? do they suit the car and are they reliable? i think all the auto's are imports? are these cars just as good as uk cars, would prob be looking to spend around the £8k mark for one, should this be enough for a decent one? seems to be plenty out there for around that, well thanks in advance guys

not desperate for an auto, but would really prefer one, would use for commuting and bad traffic sometimes, don't mind a short delay but does it drive ok and is it usable? thanks
it;s certainly usable, and the car is definitely faster in tip mode, than leaving it without. It;s nice enough in auto mode, and will drop down 1, or 2 cogs should you boot it. being a 5 speed, (as opposed to the 6 speed manual over here), it does lose puff at higher speed compared to the 6-speed manual), but to be honest, I seldom drive at those speeds. 3rd gear is great though. The 3.5 is a great engine though. Lovely note on the 350Z.
