insurance - do you declare
Discussion
Talk to Gary Moulson at Keith Michaels Insurance. Gary is a fellow Scooby owner and does a cracking good job. He will sort you out with a limited mileage policy and just make sure you decalre any and all mods. Made very little difference to the cost of my policy decalring all my mods and Ketih Michaels were by far the cheapest insurer for me and that's with mine and my partners licence points.
If you buy a policy without declaring any mods to your car you are not abiding by your policy's terms and conditions and as such you would probably find that your insurers would avoid cover (i.e. you would not have any cover in force).
If you then had an accident under these circumstances then you'd be on your own...

Try A-Plan as well
They were cheaper for me this year than Michaels with all mods declared
'06 FSTi,Mocom re-map,BC coil overs,WR Sport exhaust,Whiteline Strut Braces and ARB,Goodridge braided hoses.
My advice would be,if you can't afford to declare your mods, don't mod it.It's just not worth the risk these days.
