I recently had to sell my RB320 to finance a property renovation, many tears shed, it was a great car. When things are back to normal I'll want another fast Subaru. So, RB320 or 330S? It'll mainly be a weekend car. I've not driven the new hatchback Impreza yet though from what I've read a 330S with a Prodrive spring pack is pretty good. Anyone driven both?

I've driven both the RB320 and the 330s. The RB320 is a night and day better option. I've had the loan of a GB270 with a PPP as well recently. This is another one I'd have over the 330s.
If i was spending someone elses money I may be tempted by the 330s with the prodrive springs, simply because it's newer and has a better interior / more toys. However hell would freeze over before I'd spend my own money on a 330s over an RB320. Rarity factor of the RB320 was due to it's low build numbers. Rarity of the 330s will be down to no one buying them with their own money IMHO.

I must admit I prefer the looks of the RB320 as well, apart from the rear wing. I'd guess it'll hold its value better as well.

Haven't driven either I must admit.

But for me it would be a good example of the RB320 any day of the week !!

I've driven both and as above I'd say the RB320 is a much better car to drive.

I suppose it all depends on wether you fancey a hatchback or a saloon. Both cars have identical performance stats, but the RB320 being more hardcore out the two. To behonest, that kind of performance could be at your disposal sooner than you think! The mighty P1 is available right now at a fraction of what the other two cost.......

I went to view the RB320 at the weekend there and I've got to say, I love it!

I'm sure it was #60 and it was for sale @ £22,495. Quite expensive!

What's the RB320 like to drive? What are they like to maintain, costs etc?

I would consider selling up and buying one. Not at £22,500 though!

if its a weekend car and you have a budget of £20k+, what about a 22B? would certainly hold its value as well as the RB320
