Changing front pads on a 95' Legacy GT....

Hi Chaps,
I'm not a total amateur at servicing and building cars but just wanted to know if there any hints or
tricks to scooby brakes? or is it fairly straight forward like most cars?
I remember my Citroen BX (first car!!) was a total nightmare.....
