Ok. Strange question, I appreciate, but I'm trying to lay my hands on drawings or CAD data (v.unlikely the latter, I know) of the engine and transmission for the Mitsubishi Evo 7,8 or 9.
I'm doing a project involving effectively rebodying said Evo running gear into another vehicle and could do with as much installation info as poss, before forking out cash on a donor!
If anyone can point me in the direction of some help, I'll owe several Internet beers (and I'm a prompt payer!) beer

TIA

Possibly. Is that the service manual? I can't view/download the actual file ATM, as I am posting (badly!) from a mobile. Thanks for the link though, if it's a service manual, the pics alone will be useful, even without any dimensions.

Try searching through the MLR forum, there will be a lot of pictures there of engines and gearboxes, but I can't remember ever seeing one of the engine attached to the gearbox, but out of the car, or of drawings of the same.

Don't know if it's any use to you but on the Johnny Vegas chop shop episode they hired an electronic ruler thing to help mate the Impreza running gear into the Golf.

MLR have the full set of workshop manuals. No dims on them though.

If you are anywhere near me (N Yorks) you're welcome to come and take some measurements from my VII if it helps?

Thanks for the help, folks - Particularly the kind offer from Rhinochopig.

It seems that we are going to do it the hard way on the fly in the workshop, so I guess I should prepare for several long nights of head scratching over how to make it all fit! JFDI as they say, I guess!
